What the maths quiz covers

Easy sets are quick sums; harder ones bring in geometry, sequences, probability and the names of shapes and numbers most people have forgotten.

  • Quick sums, times tables and percentages
  • Shapes, angles and geometry
  • Primes, squares and sequences
  • Famous numbers and mathematicians

How it works Full rules

  1. 1. Ten questions, easy first. Every set runs from easy to the hardest your level allows, 15 seconds each.
  2. 2. Points for difficulty, speed and streaks. 100800 points a question, up to +15% for a streak and +20% for a quick answer.
  3. 3. Same set, other people. Your score lands on a board with everyone who played that set, and on the weekly world board.
