What the kids maths quiz covers

Adding and subtracting, times tables, odd and even, shapes and telling the time — the maths they are learning right now.

  • Adding and taking away
  • Times tables
  • Shapes and counting sides
  • Telling the time and simple money

How it works Full rules

  1. 1. Ten questions, easy first. Every set runs from easy to the hardest your level allows, 15 seconds each.
  2. 2. Points for difficulty, speed and streaks. 100800 points a question, up to +15% for a streak and +20% for a quick answer.
  3. 3. Same set, other people. Your score lands on a board with everyone who played that set, and on the weekly world board.

Questions people ask

Is the maths quiz for kids free?
Yes. Every quiz on Exampractice is completely free — no payment, no subscription and no adverts. No account is needed to play; sign in whenever you like and your scores, streak, level and friends are kept across devices.
How many questions are there and how long does it take?
A set is 10 questions with 15 seconds each, so a full round takes under three minutes. Questions run from easy to hard and no two sets are the same.
How is the quiz scored?
Easy questions are worth 100 points, medium 200, hard 400 and extra hard 800. Consecutive correct answers add a streak bonus of up to 15%, and in Quick Play a fast answer adds up to 20% more.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes — the Kids Maths questions are written for younger players, and Kids Zone groups only ever use Starter-level questions. A parent’s account keeps the scores.
Do the questions get harder?
Yes. Everyone starts on Starter sets and unlocks Regular, Advanced and Expert mixes by finishing sets accurately — extra-hard questions only appear from Advanced onwards.
