Free Geography Quiz
Capitals and countries are the easy end. Then come the rivers that cross three borders, the mountain ranges that are not where you think, and the small island nations most maps forget.
What the geography quiz covers
Geography questions reward people who travel, read the news and look at maps for fun. Harder sets bring in deserts, straits, time zones and the odd capital that is not the biggest city.
- World capitals and their countries
- Rivers, lakes, mountains and deserts
- Flags, borders and continents
- Oceans, seas and famous landmarks
How it works Full rules
- 1. Ten questions, easy first. Every set runs from easy to the hardest your level allows, 15 seconds each.
- 2. Points for difficulty, speed and streaks. 100–800 points a question, up to +15% for a streak and +20% for a quick answer.
- 3. Same set, other people. Your score lands on a board with everyone who played that set, and on the weekly world board.
