What the history quiz covers

Sets mix the ancient world, medieval Europe, the great revolutions and the wars and leaders of the last century, so a specialist in one period still has to think in the others.

  • Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome
  • Monarchs, dynasties and empires
  • Wars, treaties and revolutions
  • Twentieth-century leaders and events

How it works Full rules

  1. 1. Ten questions, easy first. Every set runs from easy to the hardest your level allows, 15 seconds each.
  2. 2. Points for difficulty, speed and streaks. 100800 points a question, up to +15% for a streak and +20% for a quick answer.
  3. 3. Same set, other people. Your score lands on a board with everyone who played that set, and on the weekly world board.
