Why choose Exampractice
10,000+ exams under one plan
Kaplan covers healthcare, academic admissions and professional exams. Exampractice spans 1,000+ awarding bodies — Cisco and AWS next to NCLEX, the FAA knowledge tests, FINRA series exams, NFPA fire-safety credentials and ASE trade tests. One account covers a career, not one certification.
Ten free questions on every exam
No card, no account, no trial to remember to cancel. Open any of the 10,000+ exams and read real questions before you decide.
Answers checked, not crowd-voted
Every answer is verified by our team and corrected weekly. Where a question is genuinely contested we say so, rather than leaving you to work it out from an argument in the comments.
One exam without a subscription
$19.99 for 30 days or $49.99 for a year, paid once. Access ends by itself — there is nothing to cancel and nothing renews behind your back.
Switch exams whenever you like
Full access is $39.99 a month or $199.99 a year and opens the whole catalogue. Pass one certification, start the next the same afternoon at no extra cost.
Your progress is kept
Scores and study plans survive a lapse. Come back months later and pick up exactly where you stopped rather than starting the exam again.

What Kaplan leaves out
Kaplan sells test-preparation courses in healthcare and academic admissions, priced per exam. It left IT certification entirely in 2020, when Kaplan IT Training was folded into CyberVista, and has not returned to it.
- No IT certification preparation since 2020.
- $99 buys one month on one exam.
- Full courses run $349 to $399 for three months.
- Priced per exam, so nothing carries across to a second certification.
Exampractice instead
10,000+ exams across 1,000+ awarding bodies, ten free questions on every one of them, and the whole catalogue for $39.99 a month. One plan, every industry, nothing to cancel on the single-exam option.
Common questions
- Does Kaplan still do IT certifications?
- No. Kaplan IT Training, formerly Transcender, was folded into CyberVista on 30 April 2020, and Kaplan has offered no IT certification preparation since. Exampractice covers IT alongside healthcare, aviation, finance, fire safety and the trades.
- Is Exampractice cheaper than Kaplan?
- Substantially. Kaplan's NCLEX QBank is $99 for one month on one exam, and its courses run $349 to $399. Exampractice is $19.99 for 30 days on that same exam, or $39.99 a month for all 10,000+.
- Does Kaplan's pricing carry across to other exams?
- No. Kaplan is priced per exam, so nothing you buy for NCLEX applies to a second certification. One Exampractice plan covers every exam in the catalogue, and you can switch between them whenever you like.
