Free TSE (Test of Spoken English) Exam Questions and Answers
The Test of Spoken English is no longer offered. It appears nowhere on ETS's current site, in its sitemap or in its trademark listings, and its function was absorbed into the TOEFL iBT Speaking section, which is where spoken English is now assessed for academic admission. ETS has published no retirement date that could be verified, so treat any specific year quoted elsewhere as unsourced. If you need a current measure of spoken English, TOEFL iBT is the direct successor — bearing in mind that it was itself shortened in July 2023 and moved to a 1-to-6 scoring scale in January 2026.
