Free TOEFL iBT Exam Questions and Answers
TOEFL has changed twice over, and almost all third-party material now describes a test that no longer exists. ETS shortened it to under two hours on 26 July 2023 — cutting Reading, replacing the Independent Writing task with Writing for an Academic Discussion, and removing every unscored question. Then from January 2026 the scoring moved to a 1-to-6 CEFR-aligned scale for each section and overall, with the familiar 0-to-120 total retained alongside it only as a comparable secondary score through a two-year transition. The item types have been redesigned too, so the long-passage, four-Speaking-task format most guides still describe is not what you will sit.
