Free GED Section 5 Mathematics: Section Five Mathematics Exam Questions and Answers

The GED was restructured in 2014 and this section belongs to the earlier five-test series. Mathematics is now called Mathematical Reasoning, runs 115 minutes, and is scored 100 to 200 with 145 needed to pass. About 45 per cent of the current test is quantitative problem solving and about 55 per cent algebraic problem solving. A TI-30XS on-screen calculator is provided for most of the paper, and a formula sheet is supplied, so the current test rewards knowing which relationship to apply rather than memorising it.

The first 10 questions on this page are free to read, answers included — no account and no card. A plan opens the rest of the bank, the full timed practice test and your weak-topic reporting.
