Free IIA-CIA-Part1: Certified Internal Auditor - Part 1 The Internal Audit Activity's Role in Governance Risk and Control Exam Questions and Answers
Part 1 is the first of the three papers that together earn the Certified Internal Auditor — one certification, not three, so passing this alone certifies nothing on its own. It is 125 multiple-choice questions in 150 minutes, the longest of the three, scored on The IIA's 250-to-750 scale with 600 to pass. Note that the syllabus was rewritten on 28 May 2025 to align with the Global Internal Audit Standards, so older study material aimed at the 2019 blueprint no longer matches the exam. The same paper doubles as the Internal Audit Practitioner exam, and you have three years from approval to pass all three parts.
