Free WAEC (West African Examinations Council) Exam Questions and Answers
WAEC has run since 1952 and serves five countries together — Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia and The Gambia — which makes it one of very few genuinely regional examination councils anywhere. Its main paper is the WASSCE, which certifies completion of secondary school and feeds university admission; in Nigeria it works alongside JAMB rather than replacing it. School candidates and private candidates sit in separate series, so the paper you prepare for depends on which route you are entering by. Grades run on a nine-point lettered scale, and institutions set their own minimum requirements rather than WAEC declaring a universal pass.
