Free UK Armed Forces Officer Selection Exam Questions and Answers
This is not an exam. Each service runs its own multi-stage selection and they differ enough that preparing for the wrong one is a real risk. The Army's AOSB at Westbury has two stages — a two-day Briefing of psychometric tests, group discussion and leaderless tasks, then a four-day residential Main Board with command tasks, a lecturette, planning exercises and a fitness test. The Royal Navy's Admiralty Interview Board now runs entirely online, as a pre-recorded interview followed by a group planning exercise, assessed against six competencies. The RAF's OASC at Cranwell is one stage of seven, sat over two days with an overnight stay and preceded by a six-part aptitude test covering verbal, numerical, work-rate, spatial, electrical and mechanical reasoning.
