Free Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) Exam Questions and Answers
The Certified Environmental Professional is awarded by ABCEP, the Academy of Board Certified Environmental Professionals, and its distinguishing feature is how high the experience bar sits. Candidates need a bachelor's degree plus nine years of professional environmental experience, five of them in responsible charge — that is, supervising or directing the work rather than carrying it out. An advanced degree can offset up to two years of the general requirement but never the supervisory years. There is also a CEP-IT route for those still accumulating experience and a by-eminence pathway for senior professionals. The credential requires annual renewal, and ABCEP does not publish a numeric pass mark.
