What changed in ENCOR v1.2 (2026)

This matters if you're using older study material. Cisco updated ENCOR to exam topics v1.2 in early 2026: the last day to test on v1.1 was 18 March 2026, and v1.2 testing began 19 March 2026. Two changes stand out:

  • Wireless content was removed from the core. Wireless now lives in the dedicated wireless concentrations and the CCIE Enterprise Wireless track, rather than being everyone's problem in ENCOR.

  1. Studying from pre-2026 ENCOR material without checking the blueprint. The v1.2 update removed wireless from the core and expanded SD-WAN and automation; older courses will misallocate your time.
