Free 11+ (Eleven Plus) Exam Questions and Answers
The 11+ (eleven plus) is the selective entrance exam for grammar schools in parts of England and in Northern Ireland, sat by children in Year 6, usually in September. There is no single national paper: each local authority or consortium chooses its test, most often from GL Assessment, so the mix varies by area. Typical papers cover English (comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar), mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, mostly in multiple-choice format. Results are standardised by age so younger children are not disadvantaged. Check your local area's admissions guidance for exactly which papers your child will sit.
