Free 312-50v12: Certified Ethical Hacker v12 Exam Questions and Answers
Certified Ethical Hacker is EC-Council's penetration testing credential, and the version numbering causes more confusion than any other exam here. EC-Council's official exam code is simply 312-50 — the "v12" suffix is a label used by training vendors, not by EC-Council. The current release is CEH v13, announced in September 2024, so v12 is superseded, though EC-Council has never published a retirement date for it. The exam is 125 multiple-choice questions in 240 minutes. There is no single pass mark: cut scores are set per exam form and range from 60% to 85%, so any source quoting one figure is wrong. Entry requires either official training or two years of information security experience plus a $100 eligibility application.
