Free SY0-701: CompTIA Security 2023 Exam Questions and Answers
CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) is the certification most often named in entry-level security job adverts, and the one many employers treat as the floor for a security administrator or analyst role. It allows up to 90 minutes for a maximum of 90 questions, mixing multiple choice with performance-based questions that put you in a simulated console rather than asking you to recall a definition. The pass mark is 750 on a 100–900 scale. Security operations is the largest domain at 28%, followed by threats and vulnerabilities 22%, programme management 20%, architecture 18% and general concepts 12%. No prerequisite, though CompTIA suggests Network+ and two years of hands-on work first.
