No other Google Cloud exam works quite like the Professional Cloud Architect (PCA). A concrete calibration: an infrastructure engineer with four years' experience, one of them running production workloads on GCP, who can read a case study and produce a defensible target architecture in half an hour, is in the exam's intended audience. A capable engineer six months into their first cloud role generally is not — not for lack of intelligence, but for lack of accumulated decisions.
