"Worth it" is not a property of the certification; it is a relationship between a specific credential and your specific situation. Run any candidate credential through five tests.
1. The demand test. Search current job postings for your target role and region. Does this credential appear — as a requirement, or a "preferred"? A certification employers name is pre-validated; one they never mention must justify itself some other way. Be wary of substituting the certifying body's marketing for this test.
2. The credibility test. Is the body independent, is the exam proctored, are the requirements published, can employers verify holders?
